Fresh Fruit Salad Makes |
Serves 6 |
|
|
2 oranges, peeled and cut into sections
2 cups fresh, sliced strawberries
1 cup fresh (or canned without sugar) pineapple chunks
1 cup seedless grapes, halved
1/4 cup each sugar and water
1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate
2 teaspoons poppy seeds
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Combine fruit in a large bowl. Combine sugar and water in a microwave safe container. Microwave until it comes to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Stirring orange juice concentrate, poppy seeds and vanilla. Cool to room temperature. Pour over fruit; cover and chill 1 hour. |
